Today is DAY 2 of our Safe Harbor Advent Calendar ! THANKSGIVING is just a week away ! We know a lot of people get excited about all the sales on Thanksgiving and Black Friday. But providing shelter for ONE RESIDENT for a SINGLE NIGHT costs $18. We ask that you take the time to donate just ONE NIGHT of shelter for one of the amazing people here at Safe Harbor. It’s as easy as clicking the DONATE TAB on this Facebook page (you can pay right through PayPal!). We need YOUR help this holiday season. As you enjoy all of the wonderful family, food, and warmth of the season, keep in your hearts those who are not as fortunate. Our goal is to raise $6,570—the amount it takes to provide one person with 365 days of shelter. We have 36 wonderful residents here at the Harbor and today marks 36 days until Christmas. Each day, we will post a short holiday video of one of our residents, past residents, or staff, sharing what they are thankful for, their favorite part of the holidays, or a holiday shout-out to their friends and families. Please share this post with your friends and family! We need 365 people to donate just one night of shelter each in order to reach our goal.
