Today is Donald Michael Kraigs birthday. He would have been 63 years old. Yesterday, his ashes arrived. Tonight, I am having a small birthday celebration with a few close friends and my mom to celebrate Don. Im looking forward to it and, no, I will not be bringing his ashes along (although the black box hes currently in is rather flattering). Normally, Don and I would have quietly celebrated his birthday just between the two of us. I usually got him a few gifts (after months of hard research - so difficult to buy for!) and then Id take him out to dinner (usually Indian food). Last year, we did his favorite Indian restaurant in Marina Del Rey area, Venice Beach and Killer Shrimp afterwards. It was a marvelous time. Happy Birthday to my best friend, lover and soulmate!
