Today is Epiphany in many parts of the world, Reyes Magos in Spain (which is in some families bigger than Christmas) and in Ireland it is Little Christmas (Nollaig Bheag) and also Womens Christmas (Nollaig na mBan). On this day (in some parts of Ireland) men took over the household duties and the Women got a day off and celebrated this with other women. Nice custom after the hard work over Christmas for women back in the days. Hopefully today, the work over Christmas isnt as one-sided anymore as it once was?! (If in your house it is still one sided, give the women AT LEAST this one day off!!)
