Today is Equal Pay Day and it marks the average number of additional days into 2014 that women need to work to make the same as men did in 2013. Today President Obama signed two fair pay executive orders! While a huge step in the right direction, in most states LGBTQ people can still be fired just because of who they are. While the Employment Non-Discrimination Act is stalled in the US House, lets urge President Barack Obama to move forward immediately with an executive order that would ban workplace discrimination against millions of people who work for federal contractors.
