Today is #FUA Friday. Warning, it involves pottying. ;) I dont always have something to celebrate here, but today, we dance. Our son, who has been peeing in the potty for several years (thank you ABA potty party) has worn an overnight pull up to bed for accidents and has only ever pooped in a pull up. Its took a week of perseverance on both our parts, but he finally pooped on the potty. Hes 8. #FUA. Dont tell me what he cant do. Take your limitations and shove em. Special thanks to his ABA team for their support and to his teacher and aides who cared enough to help us work through it. ;) Parents of special needs kiddos, dont give up. Eight is better than never. But, at 5,6,7 its easy to lose faith. Dont do that. Always keep the faith, even if theyre 18 instead of 8.
