Today is: Friday, 17, Dhul-Qadah, 1435 A.H. Qur’an reflection for the week: O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife [Hawwa (Eve)], and from them both He created many men and women; and fear Allah through Whom you demand (your mutual rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship). Surely, Allah is Ever an All-Watcher over you.-Quran 4:1 That is (the Paradise) whereof Allah gives glad tidings to His slaves who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds. Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم): No reward do I ask of you for this except to be kind to me for my kinship with you. And whoever earns a good righteous deed, We shall give him an increase of good in respect thereof. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate (the deeds of those who are obedient to Him).-Quran 42-23 “And those who break the covenant of Allah, after its ratification, and sever that which Allah has commanded to be joined (i.e. they sever the bond of kinship and are not good to their relatives) and work mischief in the land, on them is the curse, and for them is the unhappy home (i.e. Hell)” -Quran 13:25 Would you then, if you were given the authority, do mischief in the land, and sever your ties of kinship?-Quran 47: 22 “Our Lord, do not condemn us if we forget or make a mistake...and pardon us, and forgive us, and have mercy on us”-Quran 2:286 TODAY BEING FRIDAY--- READ SURAT AL-KHAF-(Qur’an Chapter 18) BEFORE SUNSET (In Sha Allah)
