Today is Friday, AND it’s World Cat Day! In honor of today, we would like to share sweet Jumper’s story. Jumper came to us 2 months ago with cloudiness, discharge, and change in the general appearance of his right eye. Dr. Warren diagnosed him with Eosinophilic keratitis, a disease where the immune system attacks the cornea. Similar to other immune mediated diseases, the cause of the disease is unclear. The disease is usually controllable with topical medications that we initiated for Jumper. Two months later, Jumper’s eye is continuing to heal! We are very excited to see the progress he has made and hope that he looks even better when we see him again in a month! :)
