Today is #GivingTuesday I wish the news media both in the US and in Panama paid HALF as much attention to this initiative as they do to Black Friday... but since they wont we must! Pick a cause you are passionate about and a charity doing a good job making a difference and go to it, donate some time, some cash or exposure on social media :D I am partial to Spay Panamas Animals USA-Panama here in PTY, they do a wonderful job and disclose their financials (very effective use of your dollars!) If you are in the US consider Noahs Ark Animal Sanctuary (noahs-ark.org/) they take in abused and abandoned wildlife AND have a home for orphaned and abused kids, who get to interact with some of the animals as they rehabilitate and wait for their forever homes :) They are well rated on Charity Navigator and over 90% of your donation goes to work for the animals and children :D If that doesnt convince you... they have a Bear named Baloo and a Tiger named Shere khan, who are friends (they live together with a lion named Leo!) Whatever your passion, put it to work today!!
