Today is Global Handwashing Day and International Day for Rural Women. One thing #Ebola made us conscious of was the need to ALWAYS WASH OUR HANDS! Even though Nigeria is #EbolaFree, we must remember that #dirtyhands spread other DIRE and PREVENTABLE diseases like #diarrhoea. Hand washing with #SOAP and #WATER is simple, free, easy and truly cost effective when you consider the pain that comes from not washing your hands. Keep the culture alive! #WashYourHandsCORRECTLY … 1. Remove all rings or hand jewellery 2. Wet your hands with clean water from a running tap 3. Put some soap over your hands and rub it really well 4. Scrub your palms, between your fingers, wrists, back of your palms, finger nail edges, under your nails for about 15 - 20 seconds 5. Rinse your hands thoroughly. 6. Wipe with a clean towel or air dry Its soooo simple! imbibe it today!
