Today is National Cancer Survivor Day. Im sharing this video that Steven made with M.D. Anderson in 2013 for Survivor Week. 2012 was a rough year for us (to say the least!). Steve was diagnosed in January, had biochemo Feb through April, then major abdominal surgery to remove the adrenal tumor, then he started Zelboraf in October which left him very ill and hospitalized for 11 days in November. Thankfully he started Yervoy after that, the tumors shrank and he eventually was NED and has continued to be for the last 8 months or so. To all of the melanoma warriors out there, hold on to hope! A cure is coming!
