Today is National Heat Awareness Day, and the U.S. National Weather Service has some great information on the hazards of excessive heat, signs of heat-related illness, and first aid measures you can take when you see heat-related illness symptoms. As we get closer to summer, its important to check out these safety tips. And never leave kids, pets, or people with disabilities in parked vehicles on hot days!
