Today is National Seniors’ Day, and I want to pay tribute to the women and men who built our country. Canada’s seniors made incredible sacrifices to defend our values, and worked to create the institutions and services from which we all benefit today. In fact, many seniors continue to contribute to our community by volunteering for countless hours. THANK YOU!!! Now it is up to the rest of us to ensure that seniors can live out their retirement with the dignity and respect they deserve. Ive made that a key priority of my work in the House of Commons, and Im committed to building a Canada where no senior is left behind.
