Today is October first, its also the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness for the month of October….now for this month, anyone and everyone that knows someone with or have died from breast cancer will don that perfunctory pink ribbon…..i can bet two pence and a shilling that most people dont know what they are being made aware of….that breast cancer is pervasive in our society today? that breast cancer is taking out our Moms , Aunts and Sisters? or that the only options are Chemotherapy and radiation?…..how about we make November the Real Breast Cancer Awareness Month and people are made aware that chemo and radiation only works in 1 out of every 100 people, and most of your donations dont go into research, and mammograms does more harm than good, or the companies than sponsor pink ribbon and their corresponding charities also makes or produces products that are linked to breast cancer and most of your charity money furtively lines the pockets of charity execs...With cancer being a 200 billion dollar industry, we can understand why the word Awareness is as lucid as the jibber jabber that spews forth from the mouths of these rich execs….Prevention is and can ONLY be the way to curtail the spread of Cancer…..Cancer awareness is like concerting all your energies on treating victims of automobile accidents instead of installing a traffic light…if there was such a thing as Cancer PREVENTION Month we might still have our moms, Aunties and sisters.
