Today is Orphan Sunday. I watched this video and cried, despite the fact that it is a cartoon. I thought of what it must have been like for our kids who were not adopted as babies every time a family came to their orphanage and another child left. I could picture them sitting there wondering when it would be their turn and when a family would finally be coming for them. I saw hope lost in some of the pictures of Reid over the years...before he knew a family was coming for him. I think of all the kids who are sitting in orphanages today wondering the very same thoughts and losing hope that someone will see them, choose them, and come for them. How brave these children are. Pray for them. They need me, they need you, they need us. Every child deserves a family and to know the love of a forever family.
