A few politically biased groups, like The Western Center for Journalism, published vitriolic articles with sarcastic and hate-filled messages to the president and his supporters. Comments on those articles were even worse, with one man saying may it be his last (threats on the life of a president, no matter how abstract or veiled, are felonies, by the way). Maybe its just how I grew up, but youre not supposed to bully someone on their birthday, no matter how much you dislike them. Youve got 364 other days to do that. Is nothing sacred in this country anymore? Do better, America. PS- youre actually not supposed to bully people at all, ever, but I figure starting with measurable goals like ONE DAY A YEAR is a realistic first step.
