A wunderkind who cut his teeth in Bay Area big band and latin soul outfits during the late 60s, Rick became a card-carrying union player at the age of twelve and has been hellbent for leather ever since, working with such luminaries as Frank Sinatra, Jerry Lewis, David Foster, Jerry Goldsmith, Sammy Davis, Jr., Tears for Fears, Pharrell Williams, Etta James, Hans Zimmer, Natalie Cole, Paul Anka, Joe Cocker, and Ray Charles. Deane hooks up with Rick in Los Angeles for story after story detailing Ricks incredible career run on more than 1,200 studio feature films and countless television shows over the past four decades and how he is now working hard to preserve the health of the business for future generations of recording musicians.
