Today is Saturday, the 18th of October, 2014. Good morning! Good weekend it will be, Premier League is back :-D But then, that annoying news we all saw yesterday... some brainless people making expensive decisions for us as a nation, yep, Im talking about the Boko Haram ceasefire. One reason why its annoying is this... 200+ girls are kidnapped, and we cant launch a rescue because those girls might be killed. Ok, chill... Boko boys attack later, 100+ dead. Army cant go after them bcos they have 200+ girls. Well, another week, Boko boys attack again, 100+ dead. We cant go into their hideout because they have 200 girls. It happens again and again, hundreds left dead. And we are meant to celebrate the release of 200 girls in exchange for a ceasefire with Boko Haram... blood is blood anyway, and death is death. Keeping you away while they kill more than the number they kidnapped. The same way the country expected health workers to ride into Ebola issues during the mini-outbreak, we expect our soldiers to do the job they signed up for... not pardoning an enemy they are beginning to defeat. Boko Haram will simply use this time to regroup. And after the election is over, we know the story. Learn from Israel vs Hamas; Turkey vs the Kurds; theres never anything like ceasefire with a blood-thirsty group.
