Today is Teachers’ Day. A good teacher is always remembered by his students today, tomorrow and forever. To quote Swami Vivekananda, “we want that education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, and by which one can stand on one’s own feet”. On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, we are organizing a special programme in the Netaji Indoor Stadium, where we will be honouring 100 distinguished teachers with “Shiksharatna” award. “…বিদ্বান সর্বত্র পূজ্যতে… ” We bow our heads to our teachers with respect and gratitude and humbly wish all the best to them, their family members and the students also. Wherever we are, we always remember our teaching community with great reverence.
