Today is Thankful Thursday. I am thankful this week for time spent with good friends. I am thankful for my friend having good news and for the text messages that keep me sane. I am thankful for the food poisoning that allowed me a weekend at home and an excuse to have my car valeted. I am thankful for tea and biscuits in bed with my beautiful wife and gorgeous children. I am thankful for a small puppy that gives me cuddles and makes my baby boy so proud. I am thankful to be hated by the Daily Mail, and for having values that are inclusive and fair; not selfish and cold. I am thankful for smiles when I get home from work, and for a job that has smiles too. I am thankful for a weekend ahead with my family, and for the fact I love and am loved. I am of course forever thankful for my long suffering wife, and for the small warm hands to hold that make my heart so warm.
