Today is The Naitonal Day Of Prayer...May 1st 2014. One of my most memorable National Days Of Prayer is one which took place a few years back. A number of us were standing by the Federal Courthouse in downtown Sioux Falls. We started praying and then an older, unassuming man walked up. I thought to myself, how nice, this man got out of bed and came to pray! He joined us and also prayed a short prayer then went on his way. Later in the morning I was at Sioux Falls Seminary to hear Brennan Manning, a very famous Christian. I was sitting next to Pastor Jesse Moore and the old man who I had seen earlier at the prayer time walked in! I asked Jesse, do you know who that old man is over there? His answer... Brennan Manning!
