Today is Wanda Highs birthday. I dont know the exact number, but Ill bet her life years far exceed her calendar years. She wed Johnnie High while she was still in her teens and they would travel many miles together, and share many adventures. While Johnnie was at ease onstage and energized by the spotlight, Wanda preferred to work behind the scenes. She was, Johnnie said, the one who crossed the ts and dotted the is in their business, for Johnnies mind ran at too fast a speed to always do that. I searched Youtube for a happy birthday song for Wanda, who I grew to love & respect just as I did her husband> But, this song by a former performer on the Country Music Revue seemed a better choice.
