Today is White Ribbon Day throughout Australia with many events being held across the country to raise awareness of violence against women. This morning, Dame Quentin Bryce hosted a White Ribbon Day breakfast at QUT in Brisbane. Ms Bryce is the Chair of Premiers Special Taskforce on Domestic and Family Violence (Qld) and spoke at the event alongside other advocates for reducing violence against women in the community.
