Today is #WorldPrematurityDay and I am so thankful for all that God has done through the miraculous life of our son Trenton. Born at 28 weeks, 1 day, he was born 3 months too early. His brain began to bleed and with the highest brain bleed there is his prognosis was very poor/.......that is if he survived at all. We are so thankful for all the doctors, nurses, neurosurgeons, neurologists, early intervention specialists, eye doctors, friends and family who sustained us all through this time.....but we are most thankful for GOD who remained faithful even in the darkest hours of our lives.....when Trenton coded on my chest......when we got paged back to the NICU because Trenton was nearly dying with a sepsis infection......when we were at home and got calls from the NICU and I was too afraid to answer the phone in case they were going to tell us I would never see my baby again this side of heaven. No matter how I state it, this much is true. God performed a true miracle in our babys life. Now at 4 years old he only has a few physical issues and is one of the greatest blessings and joys of our life. Feel free to share to raise awareness or post a story of your own!
