Today is Yom Kippur-- jewfaq.org/holiday4.htm if ur a Christian everyday is Yom Kippur but its still cool to reflect and fast and be aware that we have Jewish brothers and sisters that are not aware of this and continue to live outside of God’s mercy and that on this day while they are fasting and bowing thier heads in shame we can either 1)feast and celebrate knowing that our sins are forgiven or 2)use this time to bring unconfessed and/or unrepented sins before God to be forgiven or maybe even both. Either way, we have freedom that our Jewish brothers and sisters do not have and while we are celebrating and/or fasting we should be mindful that while we are free there are others who still live in their prisons of condemnation and need our prayers. “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2 [ . . .]For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world but that the world might be saved through him. He who believes in him is not condemned; he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” John 3:17-18
