Today is a Celebration of Life! Three years ago today, at 6pm, I was on an operating table at the Mayo Clinic. I didnt know if I was coming back, didnt know what they would find, didnt know what might happen next. Facing my mortality, I had total peace in my life. After a truly brutal surgery that the public never knew about, I am a survivor. I am in excellent health, truly thankful for every happy moment, and totally intolerant of anything less than honesty, love, and goodness. Every moment could be my last. I respect that. I live and love boldly. Im afraid of no one or no thing. I do my best with all the passion I have. I love too much, I touch too much, I speak my heart too much, Im too honest and too open. I am too helpful, too involved, too caring, and too giving. Some dont like it. Its their loss. Im not apologizing. Im so happy to be alive, so happy to see my children successful, so happy to love others, so happy to be loved, so happy to give, and learning to receive. Life is short. Life is good. My daddy said, Life is for the living, Son! I never saw a Brinks truck following a hearse! Im living! Join me or get out of my way!
