Today is a big day for me, October 18th will always be my brainaversary. It has been three years since my brain tumor was removed. Every day I wake up, I am thankful for my life. People always ask why I am so happy and the reason is because God gave me the chance to live. He gave me a perspective on life I would have never had. And on top of it, God blessed me with the most amazing support system I could ask for. Some days arent easy, my medicine makes me exhausted and my head hole has basically made me a human barometer, but I will always look back on my journey and be thankful. I love my family and friends more than I could ever express. I will never forget the food, the help, and even the money people provided for my family and I. Pretty sure I will always cry when reflecting back on everything, but they are happy & thankful tears that I will gladly shed.
