Today is a brand new day and Im feeling the calm after last nights storm. After all the looting and what some describe as a dark time... its back to business as usual. People sent their kids off to school... went to work... cleaned up the community and businesses alike. Some places that were looted are open for business today. People express their frustrations in different ways and exhibit pain in various forms. Some of it may have been out of #selfishness and because people saw an opportunity and took it, but you had to be there and experience it for yourself to feel and know some people did it in protest and out of helplessness....even in the name if Mike Mike. Its a far bigger picture that people are ignoring and taking for granted. Right wrong indifferent... a class was given a voice that has felt They havent had one in all this time and though there was distruction, vandalism and looting. ... people came together for a common cause and were #NonViolentMvmt amongst each other and their own people or even those who joined in of different races ages and ethnicities. I was there... I can speak on it... I saw it 1st hand. Yes people stole things and Im not an advocate or agree however even in what was said to be a #selfish act people shared with each other and just gave things away without even thinking twice about it and under other circumstances outsiders would never expect that from our people. The family is no longer endorsing protest... walks...rallys...etc. b/c of the mayhem it turned into which is their right however they should have their time to be able to mourn the death of their son and family member and shouldnt have to be forced to be the face of all the *extra* things surrounding the tragedy. Lets remain positive and keep the spirit of cooperation... unity... friendship. .. family... love.. compassion and justice in all of our days to come. This is only the beginning!!!! And to the opposers...#ICHALLENGEYOU... where are our ministers...preachers..munity advocates... politicians... to #LEAD us in this trying time in the #RIGHTDIRECTION???? WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE? May God bless us all
