Today is a day I like to fill with good memories, 20 years ago today we lost a wonderful man a man who was such a great teacher and mentor to me, my dad. I like to remember the fun times we had the family vacations the times when he was a traveling salesman and I got to go on the road with him for a week each summer, the times fishing, the times he would take the time out of his busy schedule to drive me and my horse to some horse show where he would drop us off and he went back to work but never failed to be back for the horse show. The NASCAR races we went to, he convinced me to get my real estate license at age 18 wasnt long before I thought I knew far more than he, ha that man always had me beat and I finally matured enough to realize that. I fully realize now after having kids of my own the sacrifices he went through to provide the times I insisted on something he couldnt afford but he would always try to make it happen. He had a big heart and helped many people. Over the years he was my adviser, my friend but above all else my father and there hasnt been a day over the past 20 years that I havent thought about him and how I miss him. I would give anything to have just one more full day with him. Love ya dad and will see you on the other side and we can spend everyday together.
