Today is a day Katie and I prayed would be far off. We are heartbroken. We had to put our sweet beagle Schroeder to sleep. He has been dealing with lymphoma for almost 6 months and has had some wonderful times with us in those months. Thanks to Dr. Wright he was able to have a great high standard and quality of life during almost that entire time and we are so very grateful for all the extra moments and hours and days with him. He was my best pal... he stayed with me all day long as I worked in my art studio and even when not in the room was always laying where he could see me and keep an eye on me. He always tried to cheer me up and make me laugh or smile. He gave me tons of licks and hugs first thing in the morning. I know we will see him again one day but we will miss him everyday until then. He was far too young to leave like this. Thank you all for your support and prayers during these months. Please keep praying for us as we deal with the loss of such a unique and sweet soul.
