Today is a day for thankfulness and yet it is also a day filled with sadness as well. 9 years ago today I lost my sweet uncle to a long unexplained illness and while they had him in surgery, his heart just could not take it we lost him and right after that I in a sense lost my grandmother as well. But I am thankful as well that this year I have a sweet sister, Alma Bast-Porter, by my side to get me thru this tough day and holiday, she has been such a rock for me this past year and I dont know what I would have done without her. Thank you sissy with all my heart and soul for being here for me especially this past week with this nasty double inner ear infection and all these tumultuous ups and downs with all my crazy emotions. I am so sorry that I am such a beautiful disaster and will try to do better. I love and miss you uncle and always will wish you were with us now
