Today is a day that changed my life forever. I will never forget walking down the middle of the street on 7th ave with other clueless people trying to understand what was happening to the city I then called home. Watching mothers shove themselves into packed subway cars to get to their children. Watching people cry and limp around covered in sot. The city was bathed in the smell of death. those that I knew to be my comfort were 3000 miles away. I found comfort in my faith and comfort in seeing not just a city but a nation bond. From that day on I would forever be connected to NY. God bless!
