Today is a good day. Why you might ask? Because if all things go correctly my time served in the world of retail may finally be up. Ive been with Target for nearly 4 years now, and it looks like that chapter is finally going to come to an end. After tonight I start my leave of absence for the next few months or so to concentrate on making something of my career. So heres to things going well so I can make this leave something a bit more permanent. I am so burnt out on the tedious and monotonous trudge that is dealing with guests and the consumer culture first hand. I can not wait to see where all of this might take off.
