Today is a good day, check ride and promotion. 18 years, 8 months and 26 days ago I made the goal to make it to the same rank in the Air Force as my father. Today I put a roof on that house and became a Master Sergeant. This wasnt all on my own, I had help and I am grateful for the mentorship and guidance Ive received along the way. I wish my father was here to share this moment with me but I have comfort in knowing that he knew Id make it to this milestone. To my stepfather, I am thankful for portraying the man I wish to be.
