Today is a new day, A day to reflect. A day to go to work, A day without neglect. There is pain in my heart, It has been broken. But, there will always be, A part that was stolen. My children I do love, With all of my heart. No matter the distance, That we are pulled apart. I long for companionship, A person that will hold me. There is no place for me now, I have fallen into hardship. Where is my return? Where is the love for me? Where is my happiness? Is there no hope for me? My reality feels like a dream, From which I can not wake. There is no comfort now, I feel as though the Goddess, my soul, she did forsake. The world spins round, Like a reckless child. Things change and adapt, Even in the wild. I too, have changed, Not knowing if, for the better. My thoughts are flowing, Changing, like the weather. Longing to travel, Wishing to see more. Instead, I go to work, And simply close the door.
