Today is a sad day for me, Ive lost a great friend /mentor and Korean War Marine Veteran. Chubb Eastman was a highly respected hunting and wild life journalist but to me he was my bear skinning partner, a source of knowledge Id never had access to a Marines Marine and a man I had the most respect and love for! It took us seconds to become family. I will forever be a better man because of my short time having him touch my life. Although Im sad, I know he lived this life to the fullest and had every experience it could offer and did it with a Marine swagger only he could. I love you Chubb, Ill miss you in Alaska forever!
