Today is a significant day, both because of the 13th Anniversary of 9-11, but also for me as I just registered for the 2014 Boston Marathon. The events of September 11th, 2001 changed the world in many ways, and though we still witness events of terrorism, such as at this year’s Boston Marathon, one thing that has not changed and will never change is the unwavering determination and resolve of the American spirit in the pursuit and defense of freedom. So as we reflect on our loss, let us also embrace our triumphs, emphatically and persistently proclaiming that liberty and justice, not fear, will always prevail!
