Today is a very important day in the world of It Just Is Media. A year ago today, Shaun and Shep were called into a meeting with the CEO of the company they worked for and were confronted about the It Just Is Podcast, which was still in its infancy. (Confronted = verbally raped). And due to their outspoken blunt and honest ideas to question society, culture, authority and religion - along with discussing their own spiritual views, beliefs, and experiences - they were fired by a self proclaimed witness and defender of Christ that would not allow [their] filthy blasphemous message to affect the culture or employees of the organization. The effects of this event still linger on throughout their lives and their families. But it has helped mold the It Just Is experience into what it is today, which hopefully you enjoy and appreciate. Celebrate with us by sharing the It Just Is Podcast and help it grow even more! Celebrate by staying true to yourself, your beliefs, your truths, your joy, your heart, and not let anyone ever try to suppress you or tell you that youre wrong. Celebrate by questioning everything and everyone that tells you who to be, how to live and what to believe. Celebrate by basing your life on foundational truths that you feel within yourself. Celebrate by expanding your mind and heart and putting into the practice the light that shines within you in this dark world. Never let anyone put you down for being who you are or for speaking out against any ideas, theories, really old books, or corporations posing as religions. Never sell your truth. Never trade your joy. Never sell yourself for any sense of security. Question ideas. Question information. Question really old books. Question new books. Question authority figures. Question culture. Question society. Question religion. Question yourself. Celebrate yourself. Celebrate your unique perspective. Celebrate your joys and your life experience. Its yours - and no one can take that away from you. Anyone that tries to suppress or control you, smile and give them a double fisted flip-off and tell them to suck a watery bag of broken donkey dicks. ... Ok, maybe dont do that. We love you all.
