Today is a very special day. It is Love Maes Birthday! Wishing you a very “Happy Day” (as Miley May says lol) with all my love Sweetheart. Year upon year you continue to prove to me that spending the rest of my life with you was, is and always will be a great plan! Miley May and I love you so much for being the perfect, beautiful Mummy and Wifey who you are to us. This is the 11th time that I have had the pleasure of celebrating your birthday with you, with the first one being in Kempston, England on this day in 2004. Back then we did not know what life had in store for us. We had no marriage planned in the UK, no marriage planned in the Philippines, certainly no plan to be living in the Philippines and no idea that we were to be blessed with our “fan-tas-tic!” daughter either! If I could have designed my own wife, family and lifestyle, I would have designed them just like those I am enjoying right now. When we were watching Holly ice skating in Milton Keynes a few years ago we heard this beautiful song coming from the arena speakers and then later in the Mac shop speakers too. I tried to Shazam it but there was too much background noise so it took a good few days for me to find out what it was! It was One Day Like This by Elbow. The reason I love this song so much and the reason it gives me goose bumps every time I hear it is because it reminds me how you made me feel when we first met – and every day since.
