Today is a very very special day...pause...I was ok until now (in tears)..This great woman of God was my role model, the best mother in the world. She sacrificed for us at the age of 32 years old as a young widow, who committed her life to God and imparted into us God anointing. She kept us in church, prayer, shut-in, bible study, Sunday school, revivals, stay on the altar (especially if it was a 3 week revival lol), Monday thru Sunday except Wednesday, Choir rehearsal. She loved God so much!!! She taught us (6 daughters) how to be LADIES, how to take care of our hygiene, keep your house CLEAN, cook, to be educated even though she did no go to college. She told us if you are going to be street sweeper be the best street sweeper. How to treat people kindly...Her words were Kill your enemies with kindness. Most of all she stood for HOLINESS! She was a WARRIOR! If you were seeking for the Holy Ghost, that sister would take her very long hair and would wrap it up into a ponytail and LOOK OUT.. before you left that altar you were filled with the HOLY GHOST. She would tarry with you until you got your break through. She was a seamstress, a musician, a fashion queen, loving, petite, but POWERFUL, left handed, no nonsense, gentle, took open rebuking when she was right, forgiving, but most of all my momma was truly SAVED, SANCTIFIED, AND HOLY GHOST FILLED!!! I have not cried about my mom in a long time, but today its kinda of different. I love her so so much and dearly miss her! But one thing that I know is my mother is with the LORD! She lived the life before us as a single MOM.. what an example. I say to my FB family, if your mom is still living, love her, cherish her, contact her everyday, take care of her, make sure shes okay, put a smile on her face, kiss her, hug her, tell her everyday that you love her, pray for her. I could say so much more.. Excuse me today but this day is a happy/sad day but GOD IS STILL GOOD!!! Enjoy your self with the LORD MOMMA..tell Daddy Hey!!!! R.I.H. HAPPY 79TH BIRTHDAY!
