Today is bitter sweet... Bitter because last night we received word that good friend was killed in a motorcycle accident. I, for one, didnt know her terribly well, but to me, an admittedly negative person, the kindness and positivity she exuded was inspirational, and Im truly sorry I didnt have the time to get to know her better. The outpouring of response from the news of her passing is only more proof of what a phenomenal person she was. On the sweet side, today Jessica and I celebrate our 2 year anniversary. While we are both sad for our loss, our friend, who always commented that we were such a happy family, would want us to celebrate our love and not our loss. Jess has always made me feel nothing but loved and appreciated, and while weve had our disagreements over the years, and weve both changed as people, we still love each other as much as ever, and shes only helped me grow as a person. Even if the number of my dad jokes have increased.
