Today is dreaded tax day, but there are some of us in Washington fighting to protect you, the Arizona taxpayer. Here are just some of the bills I am pushing in Congress: • Fair Tax Act (H.R. 25), which would simplify our tax code by eliminating much of the burdensome process and replacing it with a fairer and simpler system. • Taxpayer Bill of Rights (H.R. 2768), a bill that ensures that taxpayers’ rights are protected under any circumstance • Stop Targeting of Political Beliefs by the IRS Act a.k.a. the STOP the IRS Act (H.R. 3865) to ensure that biased IRS targeting never happens again
