Today is election day and the odds are if youre reading this, youre already pretty civically minded and you know that voting is more than just a right, its really a duty. Millions of Americans have fought and died in order to preserve the very basic freedom that is the right to vote; the freedom to determine who makes the policies that impact each and every one of us. We are so very fortunate to have Valley Forge National Park right in our backyard and it serves as a constant reminder of both the importance and the price that was paid for the right to cast a ballot. As for me, actively reaching out to our residents throughout my term was the one campaign promise I made when I ran for Supervisor and as part of my continuous effort to communicate with Upper Merion residents and receive your feedback, I will be visiting various precincts throughout the day. I hope to see you at the polls!
