Today is going to be a challenge for me with a new patient. I have a man coming in who was in a car accident a little over year ago. Since the accident, he has seen a chiropractor, an orthopedist who then referred him to physical therapy for two months. He later saw a neurosurgeon who has given him two injections in his neck and two injections in his lower back. He somehow heard of me and is coming to see me. I asked him about all the therapies he has done so far and in my humble opinion, he hasnt had the type of treatment he needs. He saw a chiropractor who adjusted him but kind of made him sore because he was already sore. He went for physical therapy where they pushed exercises. Hes too sore! I believe with this person, if I start slowly use machines and a little TLC, it might help decrease his inflammation he will slowly come around. He states he can barely walk. He had an appointment made by my GREAT office lady, Leah, and we thought maybe he got lost. After work I called him, he said he couldnt walk took pain pills and stayed home. He hasnt worked in over a year. I am going to try and turn this guys life around. Will keep you posted.
