Today is my 15th Wedding Anniversary. It sure does not seem that 15 years ago that I married my best friend Coleman Maready. I believe that he was truly sent by God to find me and to marry me . What a wonderful day that was. Hotter than a 2 dollar pistol. My childhood friend, Rev. Caroline Willie Smith married us. I met her at Camp Kirwood back in 1963 and remained friends until she died five years ago. Was also so excited that my dad, Clark Ruse, was able to walk me down the isle. It also special that my mother, Bea Ruse , was healthy and able to plan the best reception and wedding ever. My childhood friends, Janis Kellum Cox, Lee Quinn Stroud and Bonnier Yoder were there to support me. Knowing these girls since we were 6 years old was so special. And of course Ron and Debra Griffin for inviting me to be in their wedding 9 years earlier where I met Coleman for the first time. Who knew!
