Today is my Mamas sweet brother, Frank Hicks 97th birthday! RIP, uncle Frank! Mama used to love to tell stories of how she could out pick the boys in the cotton fields...then ironically, the boys and their wives ended up working most of their lives in the cotton mills in Graniteville, SC! Mama loved her family, and thankfully she passed that legacy on to me...I love ALL my family, just as she loved hers in her day! Its a sad day in any family when I love you, Im sorry, and forgive me cant be uttered and accepted as a healing balm! Pride is the worst sin of all! And time is too short to let it be a divider in my heart! We can argue our points and justify our reasons all we want, unconditional love outweighs it all! Where would we be if Jesus kicked us to the curb every time we made him mad or hurt his feelings??? Love covers a multitude of sin, and Im thankful every time the love of God has proven that to me! Love yall! ;)
