Today is my beloved Appas retirement and its very hard to accept that he is retiring. I always appreciated and admired his sincerity, dedication, passion, hard work and commitment towards his job. I have hardly came across days when Appa took off from work. I could never be him as he used to learn and give exams even few months before he retires and used to constantly learn and give a tough fight to understand and succeed in learning the latest in engineering. Starting his career as a Technician in BSNL he have come up in his Job and have grown to heights and has achieved a lot and won many awards and appreciation for whatever he had done in his career. There were times when Appa used to be at work place through out day and night and complete his work and get the tasks done from his subordinates by setting himself as a good leader by standing in front of them and work along with them. He is always friendly with all his colleagues but I too have seen him yelling at people who are lethargic and miss-use the freedom given to them. Every time I met a colleague of him, they used to appreciate his dedication and straight forwardness towards his work and his simplicity. I wish I could be like him but I cannot. He is unique. I know his retirement life will not be so easy for him to accept as he will miss his Job and friends a lot. Thank you a lot appa for whatever you have given for amma, Mohan Kumar, and me. I wish I could be there today for witnessing this memorable event. Wish you a great and happy retirement life Appa. Miss you all.
