Today is my consultation with a surgeon, were going to be discussing getting a total colectomy - they will be removing my entire colon. The disease has been using me up too much and the risk of cancer was getting higher and higher, so it was time to make the choice. Its a big surgery, and I will be in the hospital and in recovery for many weeks, but then I will be cured for life and I will get to eat whatever I want, exercise, and have children. :)
