Today is my father-in-laws 90th birthday. Dad and mom met when they were 14 and15, and were married at18 and 19. He joined the Navy during WW 2. Landed on Omaha Beach during D-day where his ship sank. After the Navy he worked for Roadway Express for 25 years. Then bought a dairy farm in Carroll county turning it into a camp ground named Hidden Hollow. When the camp ground closed in the winter months they traveled. Places they have been, Hawaii, Russia, China, England, Italy, France, Austria, Germany, Morocco, and Panama Canal, Thailand, and Spain. He retired at 60 and sold the camp ground. He and mom still drive to Florida in the winter, and are always on the go. Happy birthday Dad, we love you.
