Today is my moms 64th birthday. She hasnt been doing well at all, but this is the first year she forgot we were picking her up to go out to birthday dinner. She had dinner at 5 and was in bed when I got there to pick her up at 6:30. Though dementia has taken a lot from her, shes always been able to hang on to the big stuff and that is what kinda made it easier to deal with. Doesnt seem as real when she can still remember the big stuff. Im not sure Im ready to find out whats next. Happy birthday, Mom
