Today is my older sister Christine de la Reys birthday. They will still make her a Saint, St Christine Patrol Saint Of All Differently Abled Kids, as there is not a more dedicated and loving person on the face of the earth. She works with differently abled kids and has me to thank for tons of training as a complicated middle child sibling! My fondest memories of growing up with you is the toffee apples you made that were stuck in the pan after the toffee part set and we had to throw the whole thing away! I will always remember watching you jump over a shrub to try and break your arm so you can set it yourself in plaster. I was both fascinated and puzzled by the concept.
